I heard someone cursing that they did that in one post somewhere here. I guess it didn't work very well the way they did it.
Believe me, if that's all you had to do to get the Savage to sound a bit more *savage*, everyone in this forum would probably do it and you'd have heard about it here for sure. People are spending $150+ for a better sounding bike. You don't have to spend that much, though.
The Hartman modification posted recently is a good first try I think.
I don't know. Do it and tell US what the deal is!
